I don't think I'm cute or anything but I do enjoy cam whoring while I'm bored or "think" I look cute. Today I quickly finished my portfolio for creative writing and went to campus to turn it in. While at it I decided to sit in my car to take a few photos. I always feel weird taking pictures of myself when others are around but I guess I shouldn't right? Everyone does it. I just do it a bit more than necessary.


Yes I even took a photo of myself outside under an umbrella in the rain!! Haha I don't get to use my clear umbrella that often but when I do I love it!! It's such a cool umbrella, it is shaped like a upside U so I'm fully shielded from the rain head to.... chest.

Afterwards I ran a few errands trying to return some rented books and sell others (which was not successful) and then off to dinner with Rhea!

12-11-2012 Christmas Town at Busch Gardens

Woot for another Yelp event! This year Busch Gardens held their first Christmas event called Christmas town and I was able to check it out. I thought they did a great job for their first time holding this kind of event and thought the ticket price was reasonable. There are certain part of the park closed off but I think the area that was open was good enough attraction for the time frame.

We started checking in with our Yelpers and got our goodie back which was very kind of them. I got a beanie, a cute winter tumbler cup and also some candy. For this event we were provided with parking, tickets, 2 food coupons, and VIP front of the line passes.

It was super romantic!! I love Christmas lights and everything was decked out in lights.


We used our first food coupon on drinks. I tried their apple cider beer which tasted as good as it sounds. After getting settled we adventured off and went to take some photos and go on the few roller coasters still opened for that night.




 


I think this is a great family event opportunity if you're willing to put down some $$. I would love to come here on a date or even bring children (if I had any). They have different shows and also a meet and greet with Santa. We also tried their sing along train but I found it a bit hard singing along because there was no screen with lyrics. Karaoke style please!


We found a huge card cutout for more picture opportunities but found the lighting position placed was a bit difficult to play with. I like these kind of ideas for more picture friendly activities though!

There was also a snow play area available to play with. I tried it out but was in absolute pain while inside. WARNING to wear shoes instead of flip flops if you're wanting to play inside the snow pit (ice pit). It's actually really fun but I couldn't enjoy it to the fullest because I thought my toes froze off.


I really enjoyed myself and would def visit next year if they decide to keep this event. There is a lot of improvements to make but I admire their work for their first Christmas event. Great job Busch Gardens!

Spent the halloween month with good people :) Well sorta... Slept in a room with people I've just met.. and flashing people from our hotel room!? Oh Socs!


Waiting in line after trying to get drunk within 15 minutes... fail :(



Ended the weekend with cotton candy? :D Yay!

11-16-2012 Tampa Challenge Nation

So basically 5k with scavenger hunt? Hmmm! Sounds fun, but honestly it was way harder than a regular 5k. We ended up running around all downtown tampa for possibly 6+ miles so around 10k. It was a fun experience but I loved how creative it is.

It was a GREAT picture opportunity and it was fun getting dressed up and seeing everyone else dressed up :D. Team Asian Buffet! I was a ninja, Danny was pikachu and we had Rhea as Chun Li.

Sat down at Hooters in Channelside working on all those clues! We had to get 11 out of 12 to pass. They were pretty hard clues too, but we got them!


I don't remember what clue this was but YES we basically had to get all the team members into the turtle shell for a pic!


We had to figure out the poem and then pose as the statue that was missing. Or something like that? 


LAST photo for the event. After running through the water fountain a few times we called it a day(?). It was soooo cold afterward.

There was also a lot of FIRST. After the event Rhea and I went bar hopping around in Channelside. Started at Wet Willies for some frozen treats, chocolate treats, Side Splitters for more drinks and munches, Lit Cigar for an unexpected first cigar experience and then went to try Bamboozle.












A night of massive drinks and food :)

So I want to try to redo this blog! I saw how depressing things gotten so I want to change this up to just fun and pictures :)

I keep telling myself to go take more pictures, so it's a goal!!! The end of the year is always the busiest.
